About Tashau as a Speaker

Tashau Asefaw, MSW, LICSW, LCSW-S, MBA, is an experienced speaker, trainer, and thought leader whose work sits at the intersection of mental health, public health equity, clinical practice, and organizational leadership. With 17 years of experience spanning direct clinical practice, healthcare systems leadership, and academic instruction, Tashau brings a rare combination of on-the-ground expertise and macro-level insight to every stage she steps onto.

She has presented in academic, community, and professional settings on topics including workforce resilience, social drivers of health, culturally responsive clinical practice, and the professional development of clinicians from underrepresented communities. Her presentations are grounded in evidence, shaped by lived experience, and designed to leave audiences with something they can actually use.
