Immigration Evaluations
Overview
Healing Vibes Counseling provides professional, trauma-informed psychological evaluations for individuals and families navigating the immigration process. These evaluations help document the emotional and psychological impact of experiences such as trauma, separation, discrimination, or fear of returning to one’s home country. Our goal is to provide a compassionate, culturally responsive assessment that uplifts your story with dignity and clarity.
Types of Evaluations Offered
Hardship Waivers (I-601 / I-601A) – Evaluations to demonstrate the emotional and psychological hardship a U.S. citizen or permanent-resident family member would face if separated from a loved one.
Asylum Cases – Assessments to document trauma, persecution, or violence experienced in one’s country of origin.
VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) – Evaluations to support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, or abuse seeking protection under VAWA.
U Visa – For victims of qualifying crimes who have cooperated with law enforcement.
T Visa – For survivors of human trafficking seeking safety and legal status.
Our Approach
Each evaluation is:
Trauma-Informed: Conducted with sensitivity to safety, empowerment, and trust.
Culturally Responsive: Respectful of your background, values, and lived experience.
Comprehensive: Includes clinical interviews, symptom measures, and collateral information when appropriate.
Collaborative: Focused on helping you feel supported throughout the process.
We understand the vulnerability this process can bring and approach every case with care and professionalism. The evaluation aims to tell your story clearly, truthfully, and in a way that helps decision-makers understand the psychological impact of your circumstances.
Immigration evaluations are currently available for clients residing in Washington and Texas.
